Dua for Richness

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُك الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى

Transliteration: Allahumma inni as’alukal huda wat-tuqaa wal ‘afaafa wa’l-ghinaa
Translation: O Allah, I ask you for guidance, piety, modesty, and self-sufficiency.

Thi Dua is a beautiful prayer asking Allah for four important things:

1. Guidance (Al-Huda): We ask Allah to guide us on the right path, helping us make the best choices in life that please Him.
2. Piety (At-Tuqaa): We seek from Allah the strength to stay away from what is wrong and to be mindful of Him in everything we do.
3. Chastity (Al-‘Afaf): We ask Allah to help us stay pure in our thoughts and actions, avoiding anything that is immoral or harmful.
4. Contentment (Al-Ghina): We ask Allah to grant us satisfaction and richness in our hearts, so we feel content with what we have and do not feel the need to chase after worldly desires.

This dua is a simple but powerful request for a life filled with righteousness, purity, and inner peace. It reminds us to focus on what truly matters and to rely on Allah for everything we need in this life.
